Graduation Day Was All A Neat Mess

Where has all the time gone! It still hasn’t hit me yet that I’m done and that I finally got that diploma. It honestly happened so fast and I’m truly excited for the future!

The day of my graduation was all over a neat mess. Weird right? So, I woke up at eight for my graduation practice. After that, I went home and had about 3 hours to myself to get ready for tonight! My older sisters had to go to work which left me having to pick up my younger siblings from school. My parents had to actually call them out early because I had to be at the place where my graduation was going to held at 4:30 p.m meaning I had to leave my house at four because it’s 20 minutes away. Once I picked up my siblings, I got a call from my sister saying that I needed to go to my parent’s workplace, get cash, and pick up food for the kids. At this point, it got really stressful because it was already 3:15 p.m. and I still didn’t do my hair. After getting the money and picking up the food, I finally got home. By the time I got home, it was already 3:45. I had no time to

After getting the money and picking up the food, I finally got home. By the time I got home, it was already 3:45. I had no time to curl my hair, iron my gown, or iron my dress. I was pretty stressed out, but I tried to calm myself down and go with it. By the time I got home my sister was just got home as well. One of my older sisters and I left earlier than my other siblings because graduates weren’t allowed to bring any of their belongings to the floor of where all graduates would sit during the ceremony. My sister had to go with me to hold my belongings. But here’s the catch. We had to go in separate cars and meet at my parent’s workplace to drop one car off and carpool in the other. My parents went in one car to work, and my dad had to stay at work and couldn’t make it to my graduation until later on. My mom, on the other hand, was going so we had to leave a car for my dad since my mom was taking the other to go to my graduation.

After all that mess, I finally arrived at the place where my graduation was going to be held. I met up with my friends and it was all. After graduating I came out and saw my family and I was so happy it was over. Well not quite. I had to stay for my cousin’s graduation which was an hour after mine at the same place. So I got to sit in the crowd for about an hour and a half. Not too bad. After it was over, we took pictures and I had to put my cap and gown back on to take pictures with everyone. After that, everyone met up at a bowling alley, and we bowled until 1:00 a.m. That was graduation day.

That was graduation day. It was all a neat mess. It was very tiring yet exciting. I honestly can’t wait for what the future holds and can’t wait to accomplish all the things that I desire to do! Also, I’m super excited to share it with you all through my journey in life! So let’s keep in touch and stay connected! Also, thank you for all the love and support from every one of you! I can’t wait to make you all proud with all the things I will accomplish!
